What is Yamaguchi Footnotes?
I invited a few Yamaguchi residents to join me for walks around the city, letting them choose the routes. These paths could be their regular stroll, a childhood memory, a favorite neighborhood, or a beloved dog-walking course. Each walk became a guided journey, recorded along with our conversations. These recordings are available online, inviting others to listen, retrace these steps, and experience Yamaguchi through personal stories. By walking together—both in spirit and in motion—I hope to deepen connections with the city and its hidden narratives.

山口フットノートとは
山口市に住む何人かの方々を散歩に誘い、それぞれの好きなルートを案内してもらいました。普段の散歩道、子供の頃の思い出の道、犬の散歩コース、お気に入りの街角など、その人にとって特別な道を歩きました。散歩中の会話とルートは録音し、オンラインで公開しています。これを聞きながら同じ道を歩くことで、山口の隠れた物語や風景を共有できればと思います。歩くことで生まれる繋がりが、街と人々の新たな関係を築いていくことを願っています。
